This session will explore how arts and culture can strengthen Oakland’s workforce, create economic opportunity, and contribute to a more inclusive economy.
Join community leaders, creatives, businesses, funders, and public sector partners for a conversation on the future of Oakland’s creative economy, including strategies to support creative careers, drive job creation, activate neighborhoods, and build partnerships that leverage the city’s cultural assets.
Featuring insights from Lyz Luke and leaders working at the intersection of arts, culture, and economic development, this discussion will highlight opportunities to connect Oakland residents to careers in creative industries while strengthening the city’s cultural ecosystem.
